What This is All About
The goal of Juggle Chainsaws is to play every NES game released in the United States roughly in chronological order. I would prefer the actual order, but Nintendo of America only keeps records that record the month and year of a game's release.

Stadium Events
Posted on November 8, 2011 | 2 CommentsAh, Power Pad games. Judging from how this one went, I don't think they're going to do very well. And it doesn't help that 2 out of the 3 (or 4) events just as you to forget about too much of how the sport actually works. -
Winter Games
Posted on August 12, 2011 | 5 CommentsLook. It's a sports game! It's Acclaim's first great entry into the NES catalog! No, it's just Winter Games. I want to go watch Underdog now. The cartoon version, not the live action movie. -
Pro Wrestling
Posted on March 23, 2011 | 2 CommentsIt's a wrestling game. So far that has pretty much told us that it won't be worth much at all unless you think the cover art looks good. Pro Wrestling might not really change that but you have to admit that it's a step in the right direction. -
Double Dribble
Posted on March 18, 2011 | 2 CommentsIt's the first basketball game for the NES. Really, the first hard sports game to do. Konami isn't getting a pass from me for being first, but I can't ignore that fact either. It's not perfect, but at this point it's the closest to a modern sports game the NES has. -
Ring King
Posted on February 24, 2011 | 3 CommentsRing King actually looks pretty good, albeit a bit lazy due to the palate swap nature of character changes. But the thing controls like crap. Data East better start putting out some better games because those cool covers will only carry them for so long. -
Slalom
Posted on January 12, 2011 | 3 CommentsSlalom has an interesting place in history due to the fact that it's a game published by Nintendo that was developed by someone else. Other than that, not worth it unless you're a completest. -
Side Pocket
Posted on October 29, 2010 | No CommentsIt's a pool game. Maybe good if you're a person who likes pool games. But if you're not on of those people it might be a good idea to find something else to play. -
Track & Field
Posted on September 28, 2010 | 1 CommentTrack & Field is an arcade port that really has no reason coming over to the NES. It's a button masher. Mashing two buttons isn't much fun. -
Volleyball
Posted on September 14, 2010 | 3 CommentsIf you look at Volleyball as a sports game you'll be disappointed. If instead you see it as Pong with a massive makeover then things will probably go a bit better. -
Soccer
Posted on September 13, 2010 | 4 CommentsThere's no way around it. Soccer just isn't fun. The game that is, because I really like the sport.
