What This is All About
The goal of Juggle Chainsaws is to play every NES game released in the United States roughly in chronological order. I would prefer the actual order, but Nintendo of America only keeps records that record the month and year of a game's release.

Raid on Bungeling Bay
Posted on August 22, 2011 | 8 CommentsThis is why I give games a chance and don't just go by the impression I get in the first 5 seconds. Give this a try. Don't expect much, but it's worth checking out. -
Tiger-Heli
Posted on March 7, 2011 | 3 CommentsIt's developed for the NES by Micronics. It's an arcade port that has a reputation to live up to. Spoiler alert: it doesn't do a very good job with that. -
Section Z
Posted on November 9, 2010 | 2 CommentsSection Z is an evil shooter whose goal seems to be to destroy you psychologically. Really, some of the decisions Capcom made with this just make no sense at all. -
Ikari Warriors
Posted on October 1, 2010 | 4 CommentsIkari Warriors gives Micronics a trio of games that should be a lot better than they actually are. This is the first to get a thumbs down from me though. -
Gradius
Posted on September 10, 2010 | 1 CommentGradius is a shooter that might convince me to like shooters. That's a task in itself. It's not perfect, even Micronics put continues in 1942, but the game is so much better that it still wins. -
1942
Posted on September 7, 2010 | 9 Comments1942 was back and forth for me. Do I like it because it's a passable shooter pretty early in the game? Do I not like it because of who released it? -
Commando
Posted on August 31, 2010 | 8 CommentsThis is the first real shooter for the NES. It shows, but it's still fun to play. -
Donkey Kong 3
Posted on August 16, 2010 | 11 CommentsIf it's a Donkey Kong game then it sucks. If it's a really early shooter than it's really good. Sort of like with some movies a title that didn't tie it to an existing franchise would have helped a lot.
