Obviously I don’t have every Nintendo game ever made. That would just be crazy. For my mission I’ll be using emulators. Specifically, Nestopia. It runs beautifully. It supports the light gun (albeit by using the mouse with crosshairs on the screen so there’s no way to miss). I love it.
Instead of an NES controller I use a Gamecube (or sometimes Playstation) one. The button layouts are similar and I’m used to those so it just makes sense.
For the list of games I’ll be using Nintendo Age’s list from Volume 2 issue 3 of their e-zine. You have to be a member to get into the magazine, but it’s a free sign up. Most importantly for me, it has the games chronologically by the North American release date.
Most importantly, I’m going to spend at least 10-15 minutes with each game. That might not seem like much, but it’s also longer than some games deserve. Donkey Kong, Jr Math or any of the Barbie games come to mind? I’m not going to limit the amount of time I spend with anything, I just want to make sure that I give a game more than 5 seconds to make an impression.

Great job, I’m an old time gamer and love reading this stuff. Makes me nostalgic! Use to play many games with zSnes and nesticle. Great old platforms and fun with some of the on-line capabilities they have! Peace!
