What This is All About
The goal of Juggle Chainsaws is to play every NES game released in the United States roughly in chronological order. I would prefer the actual order, but Nintendo of America only keeps records that record the month and year of a game's release.

Rising From the Grave
Posted on November 3, 2011 | 2 CommentsHead issues. I hate them. But there are a lot of things that have gone on that I want to share with you before I jump back into this. And if you find any typos I blame the cat who has recently decided that she wants to help me type. -
Raid on Bungeling Bay
Posted on August 22, 2011 | 8 CommentsThis is why I give games a chance and don't just go by the impression I get in the first 5 seconds. Give this a try. Don't expect much, but it's worth checking out. -
Winter Games
Posted on August 12, 2011 | 5 CommentsLook. It's a sports game! It's Acclaim's first great entry into the NES catalog! No, it's just Winter Games. I want to go watch Underdog now. The cartoon version, not the live action movie. -
Lode Runner
Posted on June 15, 2011 | 11 CommentsWe've seen this before. Granted, it was for computers. And released in 1983, so by 1987 you've probably played it already. From what I can tell it doesn't really look much better here. I hope the game play makes up for that. -
Sorry For the Silence

Star Voyager
Posted on April 28, 2011 | 3 CommentsThe tagline for this site is "Some Games Are Worth Revisiting." I might need to really emphasize "some" because some games aren't worth seeing the first time. At the very least, make sure you read the manual before trying Star Voyager. -
Spy Hunter
Posted on April 5, 2011 | 2 CommentsThis is an Authentic Arcade Edition, 'eh? I'd hate to see the other versions. This game is a perfect example of why an arcade game can't always be ported to a home console and do well. I'll save most of that for another article, this will be about the game. -
3-D WorldRunner
Posted on March 30, 2011 | 2 CommentsIf 3-D WorldRunner were made today we'd probably ask why we don't just play the free version online. But it was made a while ago, and it's good. And it has 3-D. And it's fun. I think you get the idea. -
It’s Contest Time!
Posted on March 28, 2011 | 2 CommentsTshirt Laundry is giving me 2 gift certificates to give away. So it looks like a few people out there are going to get some free stuff. I don't know anyone who would complain about that! -
Pro Wrestling
Posted on March 23, 2011 | 2 CommentsIt's a wrestling game. So far that has pretty much told us that it won't be worth much at all unless you think the cover art looks good. Pro Wrestling might not really change that but you have to admit that it's a step in the right direction.
